Leading association dedicated to the development and improvement of laws for the protection of IP, the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (known as AIPPI ), held the annual round of the World Congress between 15 – 22 October 2021 again in an online format as last year.

Fruitful plenary sessions, rich content panels and events were hosted to the attendees and also an online platform served participants to take part in roundtable the Congress discussions on IP topics (the AIPPI Cafe) and to network with IP professionals.

“EFOR IP & LAW” was represented by Sibel GUMUS at the AIPPI World Congress this year. AIPPI has studied AI inventions and AI related patents from different aspects under the Study Questions two years in a row. Sibel GUMUS  has been a part of Turkish groups replying these Study Questions in both years, namely Q272-SGL-P-2020 “Inventorship of inventions made using AI” and Q276-SGL-2021 “Inventiveness and sufficiency of disclosure in AI inventions” respectively.
